Corona Trains Public School Teachers

In line with its commitment to rendering selfless service to the community, Corona Secondary School, Agbara, Ogun State, extended its training programme to 10 public school teachers from Community High School, Adie Owe, Isaga, in the Ado Odo Ota Local Council Area of Ogun State, during its annual summer school training programme which ended recently.
The theme for this year training was “Reflective Practice”. It featured topics such as Parent Conferencing and Report Writing, which were handled by Mrs. Lara Segun, the former Education Administrator, Corona Schools’ Trust Council. Other topics include Reality Pedagogy and the Use and Integration of ICT into teaching and learning.
The Vice Principal, Mr. Adesina Okunubi and the School’s Director, Mrs. Folasade Adefisayo handled Continuing Professional Development and Creative Problem Solving.
Speaking on behalf of other beneficiaries, Mr. Akin Idowu praised the management of Corona School for offering them the training free of charge. He admitted that the exercise was an eye-opener.
Adefisayo enjoined the participants to make use of the skills offered by the conference to improve on their students’ performance. Certificates of attendance were issued to the participants.
